Mr Barwell's Top 5 Facts About The Victorians

1. Queen Victoria wore black after her husband died.

     2. Victorian workhouses were not a nice place to be because the children got whipped.

   3. Victorian doctors were the first doctors who encouraged people to wash their hands.

   4. The Victorian currency were pounds, shillings and pence.

   5. Children in workhouses were paid little money and didn't have many breaks.
